There Are Always Giants in the Promised Land-A Poem Written For Celebrate Recovery: Bay Hills

It has taken me a long time to learn…

To really understand

That there are always Giants in the Promised Land 

There are always Goliaths, always Philistines banging at the door making their demands  

There are always Simon’s with plenty of money trying to buy you away

On this planet, on this fallen world that is constantly at war with its creator 

They are always here…

There are always powers and and authorities in spiritual high places 

And pharisees and sadducees in the temples 

There are always Jezebels and Delilahs

There are always Ahabs and Prophets of Baal

You see the Lord tells us to Love our enemies, not there there will not be any 

He tells us that if we follow his ways he will make our enemies be at peace with us, not that they will no longer be our enemies, although sometimes that will be the case. 

He tells us to consider every trial and test joy, and that through these trials and tests he ensures that our faith will be made perfect so that we are lacking nothing but he certainly does not tell us there will be no trials…oh, no, no no, quite the opposite…

If the Lord tells you that he will give you the promised Land, than you certainly should be believe that the before you get that to that promised land, there will be Giants

There will always be those who Mock Noah for building a boat on dry land. 

There will always be a Salome and a Herod coming for the head of the Lord’s prophets

As long as we are in this world there will always be a Pharaoh and his magicians, an Ai and a Saul who is hunting you and a Serpent who in the Garden who desires nothing more than your destruction and the Lord’s dishonor…

Why do you think our Father tells us not to love the World or anything in it….

This is a world that is FULL of Giants, that is full of the Spirit of Antichrists, that is full of little Nero’s and Ceasers who want so bad to build towers of their own…..and until he returns that will not change….

But Beloved, you need to know….with all of your heart, and all of your mind and all of your soul, you need to know….

Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice; he will not afflict 

Our LORD….is faithful

Our LORD….is all powerful, all knowing, all seeing….

Our LORD….tells us not to fear, but to be of courage, and love and power and strength, 

Our LORD…has already done the work…has already secured the win…

Our LORD….has toppled the Giants….again, and again, and again…..

Our LORD has promised the VIctory 

Our KING has promised the Victory 

Our SAVIOR  has promised the Victory 

So yes…..there will ALWAYS be Giants in the Promised…..but see…

It doesn’t matter…..because HE is greater….the one that is in you is GREATER…

If God is For YOU who can Be AGAINST YOU 

So ADVANCE mighty Kingdom….hold Strong to your Faith like the heroes of OLD, ENDURE and ADVANCE. 

KNOW that he is MIGHTY to SAVE and that you have been made complete in your brokenness so that you may STAND in the DAY of EVIL…..so that you may STAND…..

Like David, Like Esther, Like Joshua, Like Joseph 

Like our Lord and Savior, Our King and Shepard…you may STAND in the Evil Day

You will RECOVER, we WILL Recover and no one NOT a single Giant, no matter how big they are…

Can stop you…

Because…

They cannot STOP Him…

So rise and put on your Armor, take up your sword and prepare to do Battle 

Stand as Christ has stood…..Praise his Holy Name

Claim the territory of your inheritance, See the World through the lenses of Faith, and Hope

For we were not given a Spirit of Fear but of Power and of Love and of a Sound Mind 

And that, my beloved, is why it does not matter if there are Always Giants in the Promised Land…

Because he who has promised it, the name Above all Names……cannot be, will not be denied.
